Wash & Care Instructions
First Clean:
Preferably dry‑clean the saree initially to set the dyes
Gently Hand‑Wash:
Use cold water, mild detergent or protein shampoo. Avoid harsh soaps for first 2 washes
Gently dip—no rubbing, twisting, soaking, or wringing
Rinse Smart:
Add a splash of white vinegar to final rinse to maintain shine.
Dry Safely:
Blot with towel to remove excess water.
Air dry in shade; never under direct sunlight.
Ironing:
Use low heat or steam-iron.
Always place a thin muslin cloth over saree before ironing to protect fibers
Storage Tips:
Fold with the zari/embroidered side inward; store in a cotton/muslin cloth away from plastics
Refold periodically to prevent crease marks .
Use silica gel packets to avoid moisture build‑up.
Stain Handling:
Dab fresh stains with cold water immediately.
For oil stains, apply talcum powder, let sit, then blot gently
For deodorant marks, wipe with diluted vinegar or lime juice.
Styling Tips
Blouse Pairing:
For printed pieces: go with a solid‑color silk blouse that complements or contrasts the saree color.
For embroidered/zari borders: choose a brocade or silk blouse matching border tone.
